Beautiful gardens and a great conservatory where we were given tea and homemade lemon cake on arrival, yummy! The house is a smart, compact farmhouse with bay windows and a coffee-cream colouring, looking out over treelined rolling lawns and manicured gardens. The four rooms are lovely, the sitting room and conserva -tory places to plop down in and look forward to tea and cakes. Boats Bistro nearby is a good dining choice, and this region is one of our favourite places to be.
