Cooley Distillery

You will find Cooley Distillery whiskeys in every multiple and off-licence throughout the country. The whiskeys are produced at Riverstown, and since the first bottles were released in the early 1990’s, the range has grown steadily, and now includes the Locke’s, Inisowen and Kilbeggan brands, as well as the peated Connemara single malt and the light and very pleasing The Tyrconnell.

These are excellent whiskeys and Cooley is valuable as competition to Irish Distillers who otherwise have a monopoly on whiskey production in Ireland.
