A well-kept secret, of North Cork is Donal Creedon’s astonishing Macroom Oatmeal. An astonishing porridge?! Too right. There is no other porridge sold which is anything like this, its slightly smoky, toasty taste and its slightly coarse texture are unique. Donal uses the traditional way of roasting oats.
