All the more reason then to be grateful for the vivid originality of the three Carlow Brewery beers: the outstanding O’Hara’s stout – the best stout not just in these islands but one of the supreme examples anywhere in the world – the excellent, crisp Curim lager and the sweet, moody Molings ale. These brews are superb with food, and they stand alongside pot-still Irish whiskey as the true wine of the country. |
