Beaches
In recent years, most of the attention focused on Kelly's Resort Hotel in Rosslare has been on account of Eugene Callaghan's splendiferous cooking in La Marine Bistro. But, now, the venerable and splendid hotel is squaring up to the funky newcomer, and over the winter Bill Kelly and his team redesigned and expanded their hotel restaurant, re-christening it Beaches, and coming up with a design style which has made for one of the most comfortable, glamorous and simply beautiful rooms in the country. Beaches is a star.

But, they haven't finished yet, and Bill Kelly's newest plan is a completely original range of crockery for Beaches, designed by he's-so-hot-he's-on'-fire artist Guggi. Using Guggi's simple, trademark ancient urn shapes, this is a daring and typically creative act from Bill Kelly. And, when you are in Beaches, just don't miss the Cote Rotie from Yves Cuilleron, from what must be the most original wine list in the country.
