Dear John and Sally

Used to receive megabytes; sadly no more. Your sign me up facility does not recognise my email address. Is this facility still available? If so I would like to avail.
*Sorry we have been away from the Megabytes desk, due to pressures of Bridgestone Guide work, but we're back and we'll make sure you are signed up.

Dear John and Sally

Pierre's restaurant, Quay street. Galway. Very good.
*Delighted to hear it, and hasn't it been a good year for eating and staying in Galway?

Dear John and Sally

We have a fine food and wine shop in Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim with a great selection of unusual food items and over 80 different fantastic wines. Our website is www.finefoodwithwine.com. Please call in the next time your in Carrick on Shannon. Many thanks, Rio Slattery
*Certainly will, Rio, and glad to hear of another addition to what must be the fastest-developing town in Ireland

Dear John and Sally

Your review of L'Gueuleton is out of date ... it's going off, prices going up, food quality and service going down.. no obvious management in sight...would not now recommend...philip
*We disagree, Philip, but how nice to see so many opinions on one of the great Dublin stars. Troy Maguire is, moving on, of course, so expect more changes and developments. By the way, French friends assure us the best pronunciation is something like "gooolton"

Dear John and Sally

Can you tell me where to purchase baking products in Dublin City such as Chocolate chips to make chocolate chip cookies? I have tried all the big supermarkets such as Tesco, Dunnes etc
*Avoca has what you need, and organic chips to boot. If you head out to the new Avoca store at Rathcoole, be sure to take in lunch upstairs at Egg: it is pretty and has excellent food.

Dear John and Sally

I am looking for Martin Shanahan's book "Irish Seafood Cookery". Despite ISBN search I do not seem to be able to order this lovely recipe book. I have a copy but would like some more as these a re a lovely gift. Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Paddy
*We are currently reprinting Irish Seafood Cookery and it will be available again early in 2007.

Dear John and Sally

There is a really nice new cafe open in Dublin called The Cake Cafe. You should check it out it is off the top of Camden Street down a lane called Pleasants Place
*Many thanks, and good to hear that Michelle Darmody's latest baking venture is proving such a success. If you want details of Michelle's catering service for parties, call Tel: 087 938 4455.

Dear John and Sally

Your guide stays permanently in my car! We are trying to find wild boar, but are having no luck at all. Do you know of a supplier, please? Thanks.
*Any hints as to sourcing wild boar gratefully received here at Bridgestone central, especially as we are just starting a new Bridgestone Irish Food Guide.

Dear John and Sally

I was wondering how a restaurant would contact some body from your organization with a view to having their premise reviewed for the guide. Many thanks.
*Simply write to us at Bridgestone guides, Durrus, West Cork, and we will take it from there.
