Chocolate
Never mind Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Imagine, just imagine, a bar of chocolate as big as, as big as, a three-year old child? Isn't that something to dream about?

Dream no more. Eve St Leger, Cork's numero uno chocolatier, has made every three year old's dreams come true, with her inspired Eve's Metre of Chocolate. And that is what it is; the whole one yard-and-a-bit of droolsome milk chocolate, the ultimate gift for any gaggle of kids, who are mesmerised by the very idea of a metre of chocolate. "And we can eat it all!?", they ask, shocked at the idea, and itching to get stuck in.
This is the sort of thing that Eve and her partner, Guy, do so brilliantly, in their little shop and factory on Magazine Road in Cork, close to the university (look for the sign; they are in between the hog motorcycle shop and the truck repair stop). If it's a kiddie chocolate, it's perfect. If it's an adult chocolate, it's perfect, none more so that their fantastic Crunchies (just taste that honeycomb) and the unique Corkies, with their slightly salty tang and crunchy nuts. It's an Aladdin's cave of chocolate delights, an irresistible destination no visitor to the southern capital should miss on any account.
