Country Choice

Peter Ward of Country Choice in Nenagh is importing produce from Spain which he thinks may be of interest to restaurants and shops around the country ­ he has cans of organic sugar syrup, sold in 6kg tins, and the syrup has uses for ice cream, caramel sauce, sugar confectionery, glazing etc. The cost is £2 per kilo or £12 per tin, plus transport. He is also offering cans of wonderful Piquillo peppers. A case of 24 costs £3.80 per tin wholesale (£4.80 retail). Each tin contains between 17 and 20 peppers.
