Kiwi Cuvée
Kiwi
Cuvée sounds like an artful joke, and the concept of New Zealand winemakers
crafting a sauvignon blanc from vineyards in the Loire valley in France
makes it sound even funnier.
But, once you get a hit of the amusing Kiwi Cuvée 2000, the smile of amusement on your face is transformed into a grin of delight.
This is smashing modern winemaking, and just as enticing as the racy, fresh flavours of the Kiwi is the fact that you can buy it in Supervalu wineshops for not much more than a fiver, just the sort of bargain we need to get us through those straitened times of January.
A real steal, so don't miss it.
