Competition!

Congratulations to our five winners of the latest Bridgestone Guides - the 100 Best Restaurants in Ireland and the 100 Best Places to Stay in Ireland 2002.

They are: Brendan Leane from Glasnevin, Aine Hales from Douglas in Cork, Tracey O'Donovan of Kimmage Road in Dublin, Una O'Rourke from Corrandulla in Galway and Maureen Hart from Kilcock in Co Kildare. They were in the minority, because their correct answer to the question was Drisheen, a speciality only available in the Cork Covered Market, and not Clonakilty Black Pudding, as most of you replied. Close, but no cigar.

The winner of this issue's competition will be the extra lucky recipient of a voucher for dinner for two in Poppadom, everyone's favourite Indian restaurant in Dublin. (See Leslie's Restaurant Review). The question is: One of the biggest-selling books about Indian cooking ever was entitled "50 Great Curries of India". Who wrote the book?
