Actually, I made it all by myself. Really.
Frieda
Forde, whom we have worked with for years in the field of marketing
and PR, has found that life as a new mother has been improved by the
discovery of Supper's Ready, which advertises itself as serving "Classical
Continental Cuisine prepared in a traditional manner to top restaurant
standards". The large menu lets you choose between such solid-senders
as chicken wings marinated in soya, lemon and paprika and served with
sour cream; Italian Salad of goat's cheese, black olives, garlic croutons,
tomato and olive oil. The cod and salmon poached in white wine, lemon
and basil with mushrooms is recommended by Frieda. There are vegetarian
dishes including a roulade and a veggie lasagne, and look out for their
dish of the week. Side orders include that rarely seen, but always delicious
Belgian speciality, Stoemp, as well as potato cakes with flaked almonds,
onions and chives, a mixed salad or some rice with sautéed leeks. Perfect
for those in the vicinity of the grand canal.
