The Megabytes Club
Artisan Portuguese Food Hamper from Sheridans

Portugal, along with Turkey, is one of the last European cuisines where artisan food production remains largely traditional. The result of this, both from Portuguese wineries and food producers, are foods of compelling rusticity and trueness.
Having conquered the world of Italian artisan foods, Sheridans cheesemongers have now begun to winkle out exciting Portuguese handmade foods. We're delighted to be able to offer, for this month's Megabytes Club, an exclusive hamper of brilliant Portuguese foods. The hamper includes
Organic Extra Virgin Olive oil (500ml), a fresh fruity oil produced by the Cooperativa Agricola de Moura e Barrancos
Rosemary Honey with whole Hazelnuts (275g)
Paio a delicately spiced Portuguese chorizo sausage, produced with the prized meat of the iberico bellota (black pig).
Portuguese Sardines in olive oil (125g) and Smoked Portuguese sardines in olive oil (105g). Just wait until you taste these fullsome fab fish. You will wonder what you have been eating under the name Sardines for all these years.
Portuguese flower of salt, (500g) This is similar to, but less well known than, the Brittany fleur de sel, a pure white, crunchy salt that grilled and roasted vegetables cry out for.
The price, including delivery is IR£32. Offer closes on 15th November, and is open to readers in the Republic of Ireland only. (Export rules prevent us shipping it elsewhere - sorry!)
To place your order simply e-mail Sheridans at the address below and give them your name and telephone number. One of the Sheridan's team will then contact you for billing address and payment details, which may be through a credit card transaction over the phone, or by cheque. On receipt of payment, this exciting hamper will be posted to you.
We hope you enjoy these foods as much as we do. We'll certainly be ordering one! cheese@eircom.net
