Megabytes by John & Sally McKenna Vol 4 Issue 8
Competition
Win a Champagne dinner for 2 at Monty's of Kathmandu.
Shiva Gautam's cracking Nepalese restaurant on Eustace Street in Temple Bar is celebrating 5 years in business, and they want you to celebrate with them. So, a lucky pair of food lovers who get the correct answer to our competition will enjoy dinner for 2 plus champagne at Monty's.
All you have to do is to tell us the answer to this stunningly simple question: dal, bhat and tarkari are the main staples of the Nepali people, but what are they exactly? Submit your answer here
And, the winner of last Megabytes competition is Lesley Murphy from Ringsend in Dublin. Astonishingly, there was only a single incorrect answer to the competition, but the many hundreds of you who replied otherwise knew that the correct answer to "Who wrote 100 Great Curries of India" was Camellia Panjabi. You are a smart crew, but Lesley gets the voucher for dinner at the splendid Poppadom restaurant.
