Holy Mother of Divine God! Just look at what these tekkie nerds are downing at lunchtime in the Google headquarters: creamy horseradish pineapple dressing with their slaw; organic broccollini with extra virgin olive oil; vegan mushroom sauce to offset their organic tofu lentil loaf; honey habanero BBQ sauce with their baby back pork ribs.
Sorry? What on earth is going on here? Don't these guys know that Silicon Valley was built by blood, sweat, tears, toil and bags of Phileas Fogg and cans of coke? That great breakthroughs in IT were made to the accompanying crunch of Tayto cheese and onion crisps ands that unique slithering swallow which is an easi-single cheese sandwich on white sliding down a nerdy throat? Have they no respect?!
Now just look at what these anoraks are feasting on: cramberry swirl bundt cake! Pecan rice pilaff! Goat cheese and polenta vegetable soup! How on earth are these PC pistol petes going to maintain that Bill Gate pallor with its accompanying two-days-at-the-laptop odour? No doubt they accompany all this with a soundtrack of mellifluous Mozart and free Kombucha. Is there no integrity to nerdhood anymore? We give up. really!
