Amazing Avoca

The relentless and welcome march of the mighty Avoca Handweavers empire continues. Not content with opening their new flagship store on Dublin's Suffolk Street (we'll be telling you all about it when they have the operation running at full speed) Simon Pratt and his family have also given birth to a valuable new book of recipes from the Avoca cafés.
Chef Leylie Hayes and the food writer Hugo Arnold have provided the food and the words, Georgia Glynn Smith has provided the images, and it¹s a terrific effort which manges to convince you that it isn't a cookery-book-by-a-committee, which is really what it is. The familiar Avoca signatures are all here: dedication to quality; appreciation of a true food culture; good fun; enjoyment; scrummy sweet things; and acres of style.
The food is just as good as you hoped it would be, genuine,
intuitive and tactile, and here is a book that will sell by the truckful.
