Puréed to Perfection
Apart from a slice of pie, nothing is as nice as a perfect potato purée, that painstaking exercise in turning mash into magnificence. Recently we have been using the very swish and very clever Rösle food mill to make our purées, and it¹s a demon little machine, which shows just the sort of clever little innovations which have always marked the work of this Swiss firm.
The redesign of the base and the provision of an internal arm makes puréeing simple and a lot less labour intensive than standard models. What's just as important is the fact that the food mill doesn't rust. Rösle kitchen equipment is found in good stores such as Brown Thomas and specialist kitchen shops such as Dublin's Kitchen Complements.
