Wine Wending via the Web
James Nicholson has constantly and consistently improved
and expanded during his more-than-twenty-years in the wine business, with
a level of innovation with his list which is consistently impressive (check
out his new Portugese arrivals, for example, especially the terrific Chaminé
from Cortes de Cima who make wine in the south of Alentejo). Nicholson's
newest innovation is the website www.jnwine.com, which they promise will
be "one of the most innovative wine websites ever developed in Ireland
and the United Kingdom". It goes live on the 18th of September, and
the first fifty orders via the web will have a chance to purchase a bottle
of Alain Thienot Grand Cuvee 1988 Champage, which normally would cost
you the best part of fifty quid, for a steal of a price at £7.99.
