New Market in Temple Bar

A brand-new market has opened up in Temple Bar. The new Cow's Lane market opens every Saturday from 9am-6pm, and differs from the existing Temple Bar market in that it is directed specifically at the food-loving shopper who wants raw ingredients - the existing Temple Bar market now operates like a take away, albeit a delicious one. Expect "wild food and organic food" says Frank Hederman, whose award winning smoked products are a big feature of the market.

Along with Frank, other producers include growers Denis Healy and Marc Michel, who will be selling their own, as well as top notch imported, organic vegetables and fruit. Cheeses, oysters, pastas. Don't plan dinner until you've seen what's on offer.
