Having garnered prizes galore for their excellent black and white puddings, Avril and Willie Allshire have moved on to create a fine pork pate to complement the sausages and bacon that comprise the Caherbeg pork portfolio.
All are good, with the Caherbeg sausages and the black pudding maybe the cream of the crop. But with standards this high, one can only express personal preferences about the work of a pair of model West Cork artisans.
