The last time PJ and John McKenna were in GBC, PJ was having the burger and fries as a late lunch, to take away as we headed home from our little mini-tour of 2009.
The food took a reassuringly long time to appear, and when it did, we were blown away not just by the burger, which was superb, but also by the fries, which were pitch-perfect perfect. So, abandon any idea that this is fast food, because it is actually fine food cooked slowly, and it is brilliantly done.
