“We were at the Film Fleadh in July and stayed in the Heron’s Rest. We left wondering whether it would be possible to clone Sorcha and lots of little Heron’s Rests throughout Ireland – because we’d probably never stay anywhere else! The breakfast was incredible – the menu alone meant our expectations were high, but they were left in the dust – simply perfect – and ne’er a rasher or sausage in sight! And of course the location was perfect too – overlooking the Corrib with The Claddagh across the way, and a stone’s throw from Ard Bia and Tigh Neactain’s. Perfect, perfect, perfect for Galway.”
That’s our friend Sile’s response to this sublime place, and we can’t top it at all, save to suggest that you all rush to your Facebook pages and begin the Clone Sorcha and Heron’s Rest Now! campaign. Ms Mulloy is a maverick, with a different way of running a B&B, and let us tell you that it is a much, much better way. Brill.
