When Pauline Harper opened Meet You Here right at the end of 2008, people said of the cottage, that "anyone that lived here were very successful in life."
Well that success is on-going, for Ms Harper has made a great splash with her baking, her cooking and her brewing. "Possibly the most charming cafe in the country" said Sarah Marriot in The Irish Times. There are comfy sofas and lots of paintings and art works for sale, but what you need to know is that Pauline's baking is a local legend and that nobody in Roscommon would think twice about walking through a downpour to have lemon tart with home-made pistachio and raspberry ice cream.
