Nicholas Lynch's renowned wholesale business opened this flagship shop in 2007. Nick's Fish sells an eclectic selection of fish, including the award-winning Loch Duart salmon, and a range of organic wines.
One of their specialities, and indeed one of their most popular items, is their epicurean seafood mix, which uses premium fish, all carefully deboned. The fishing industry is part of Mr Lynch's heritage: his mother was from Inis Meain in the Aran Islands. "The sea was their only option" he says of his maternal family. "It took a huge toll in those days, my mother lost many relatives to the sea."
