Paul Cadden is a dynamic young guy, and he has fashioned one of the city’s best ethnic restaurants in Saba, both in terms of exciting Thai and Vietnamese cooking, and also with its exuberant decor and sexy ambience. Any time of day, we are game ball for the soft-shelled crab, or the hake in banana leaf, or their excellent pad thai noodles. The room works best when you are with a bunch of people, in which case the intoxication of this zesty, chilli-rich food soon leads to intoxication of another sort. only excellent, and a new SabaToGo on the Rathgar Road in Rathmines means southsiders have this classy food on their doorstep. Quite essential.
